Easy meals made from food you have on hand
Yesterday I published a roundup of plant forward pantry and freezer meals made from everyday ingredients. Today I want to follow up with main dishes suited for the omnivores in your household.
These recipes have larger portions of meat. There’s also a selection easy to make breads (some are yeast free) and basic condiments.
After reading message boards on Facebook and Reddit I am convinced there are a lot of people who either don’t know how to cook or don’t know how to manage their supply of food.
If this is you, don’t feel bad. Most people have time to learn through trial and error. But these are extraordinary days and, depending on where you live, supplies may be difficult to come by.
Many of my fellow bloggers are posting their own pantry and storage meals as well. If what you see here doesn’t suit try a web search on “Pantry Dinners” or “Storage Meals” or even search by the ingredients you’re interested in cooking.
If you have any questions about how to feed yourself and your loved ones, please ask in the comments and I’ll do my best to help you find an answer.
